I like how he mentions many of the recent technological improvements/innovations, such as VOIP and wireless networking, as some of the business technologies to follow up on. However, I think he missed out on the new business innovation of Web 2.0 and how it is affecting the current technological market. A CIO should definitely be aware of Web 2.0 usage and try to incorporate it into their projects in order to increase visualization and functionality.
