Smith mentions that in order to be sucessful one must think like a consultant. Do you feel that over your internship you boosted your consulting abilites (mentioned on page 83-84)? How do you think these skills will benefit you next semester?

Of course, it's a good idea to also get some experience from the client side of things.
I'm not sure that ever client would agree with the saying: "that consultants develop a better understanding of their client's business processes then the client ever has."
